City to sponsor Independence Day fireworks display

July 1, 2010 1 Comment

As long as Hurricane Alex doesn’t spawn too many  heavy storms here in Central Arkansas, the City Of Greenbrier along with Greenbrier Auto Service and Mad Max Fireworks are planning to treat residents to a fireworks display after dark on Sunday, July 4th at the Greenbrier baseball fields.

Bridget Browning of Greenbrier Auto Service says that they are also planning on some entertaiment this year, in the form of live music by the country/southern rock band Fallen Oak who should begin their set around 7. To check out more about Fallen Oak, visit them on Facebook.

Fallen Oak will play before the fireworks display

As usual, the fireworks display and entertainment are free.  Lawn chairs, picnic baskets and family fun encouraged.
