About Us

For over 15 years, the Greenbrier Chamber has served as an integral part of what makes our community a great place to work, play and call home. In the past few years especially, we have made the transition from civic organization to true business resource.  We realize that the actions we take, or neglect to take this year to improve our community will affect it for years to come. Now, every strategy, program and service is created specifically to provide a direct business benefit to our chamber members.

The Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce is meant to be an agent of growth and change–designed to meet the needs of our community. We are the only agency with a three-part reach that involves business development, community development and political advocacy.  We know we must have a broad view and a helpful hand in order to achieve these goals.

Our organization of individuals and businesses are progressively joining together to advance the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of our area. We are given our mission and strategic goals from our Board of Directors who are selected from the Chamber’s membership each year and are responsible for setting the policies of the organization. Three members of the board serve on the Executive Committee which handles more of the day-to-day operations of the organization, along with the Executive Director.

The Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce is loosely affiliated with The Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and The U.S. Chamber of Commerce–which is the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations. More than 96% of U.S. Chamber members are small businesses with 100 employees or fewer.

If you would like to be a part of laying the foundation and setting the goals for Greenbrier’s next generation of business, community and economic growth, please contact us at info@greenbrierchamber.org.
