“Hometown pride is what I call it, we are proud to be a part of Greenbrier,” said Jon Patrom, Marketing/Sales/Training Director at First Service.

Between its Institutional and Greenbrier Banking Center employees, First Service is the third largest employer in Greenbrier. It is also heavily involved in the community. In 2010 First Service Bank was awarded the Business of the Year award from the Greenbrier Chamber of

Commerce, along with CEO Tom Grumbles being named Citizen of the Year. First Service Bank has it corporate campus located at 134 & 136 S Broadview in Greenbrier, which houses the Greenbrier Banking Center and Corporate Headquarters facilities. The corporate offices, house CEO Tom Grumbles, CFO/COO Kenneth Barnard, along with Marketing, Sales, Training, Compliance, Audit, IT, Central Loan Processing, and Bank Administration.

The Greenbrier Banking Center is a full service location, headed up by Marilyn Battles, Greenbrier Market President/Loan Officer, and Vice President/Loan Officer Deanna Moses. The Company Mortgage Department is located in the Greenbrier Banking Center also, under the direction of Sharon Duncan.

“Hometown pride” doesn’t apply just to Greenbrier. First Service has eight other banks in seven other towns: Yellville, Flippin, Mountain View, Marshall, Shirley, Dermott and Clinton (which has two locations). “We’re from the top to the bottom of the state,” said Jon, pointing out that Marion County borders Missouri and Chicot County borders Louisiana. The bank began in Dermott in Chicot County in 1962. Its institutional offices were moved in 1998 to Greenbrier. “From Greenbrier, most of our banking centers are 30-45 minutes apart,” said Jon. We’ve been providing great service for Arkansans for 49 years!
