For almost 12 years Natalie Havens has been serving the Greenbrier community one snip and color at a time. She started out small, building her clientele and then eventually built her business to what it is today. “I always wanted to be my own boss. That was always the dream, I just had to walk those stepping stones to get there,” Natalie said. After about 3 years of owning her first salon she decided to expand and moved the location. “I wanted a salon that was a one stop shop and I am so thankful for the girls I have because we are able to that!” The Hair Haven is a a full service salon and offers other specialties. Not only do they have hair stylists on staff but they have a lash technician, massage therapist, and an aesthetician. They are about to launch microblading and a cosmetic tattoo services from Jade Spotts.
Brandy Lane, a veteran massage therapist has been working in the Conway area for 15 years but made the move to The Hair Haven. She shares, “Being here has been amazing! They have transformed my life in many different ways. They are great girls!” She currently is accepting new clients. “COVID really hurt my industry so I am bouncing back.” She adds. Brandy offers cupping, cold stone therapy, deep tissue and relaxing massages. She also has a list of certifications under her belt.
When asked for advice for someone starting out in business, Natalie says, “Set a small goal, achieve it; and keep setting those goals until you accomplish a big one! Doing this in the town I grew up in… there is nothing else that could make me more proud!”
