Celebrating Monroe's -June Business of the Month

Monroe’s, owned by Rustin and Andrea Standridge was purchased in September of 2019. At the time, COVID-19 had not quite expanded into Arkansas, but would shortly. Rustin shares, “You know we really couldn’t compare years numbers wise because everything was so new. There were about three months where we were extremely slow but after that, things bounced back.”

Monroe’s originally opened around 2000 and was previously owned by Kenny Stone. He created a niche market for avid outdoorsmen specializing in lift kits, alignments, glass, and exhaust work. Don’t let the lifted vehicles pulling out of the parking lot fool you, they works on all types of vehicles.

After over 20 years of business, Kenny was ready to retire and it made perfect sense to reach out to Rustin. The Standridge family was ready to come back “home.” Rustin went to work in 2006 for McKinney Tire Pros in Conway and eventually took over ownership in 2014. Being in the automotive industry with his Greenbrier ties, it was a great fit to purchase this second location.

Rustin shares, “Owning a small business is hard. One of the biggest challenges is finding and keeping great employees, but we are managing! We appreciate everyone’s business and will continue to offer excellent service for your vehicle.” Monroe’s is open 8-5 Monday-Friday and located north of Greenbrier next to Taco Local. We are honored to celebrate them as our Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce June business of the month.
