Glisten in Greenbrier -A Month Long Celebration!

Updated: Dec 22, 2021

The City of Greenbrier and Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce launch “Glisten in Greenbrier” a month long winter celebration with a beautiful light display, FAB& T skating rink, Piccolo-Zoppe Circus, concessions, special appearances from Santa, and horse drawn carriage rides at Matthews Park.

The city of Greenbrier invites Arkansans across the state to celebrate the holiday season in style with a magical experience in Matthews Park. Glisten in Greenbrier is open to the public daily throughout the entire month of December.

“The special thing about Glisten, is the fact that volunteer organizations help run the skate rental tent and concession stand by earning 20% of the proceeds. By doing this, it gives us the opportunity to give back to the fabric of this community” shares Greenbrier Chamber president and event organizer, Ashton Pruitt.

To drive through the light display, it is free to the public and only $5 to skate in the First Arkansas Bank and Trust Rink. Carriage rides are on select nights and only $6 per passenger. Piccolo Zoppe Circus performances begin December 21st and run through January 1st.

“Graham Brothers Electric really showed up and shined for the whole community with the gorgeous light displays that they built and installed. It really gave the community something to be proud of. This is an experience in Central Arkansas like no other.“ shares Pruitt.

To experience the magic at Glisten in Greenbrier, join us Monday through Thursday 6 to 9, Friday 6 to 10, Saturday 1 to 10, and Sunday 4 to 9. For a complete list of special events please check greenbrierchamber.org/glisten
