The annual Back to School Breakfast & Expo successfully jump starts the 2025-2026 school year

Teachers and staff of Greenbrier Public Schools gathered to celebrate a great start to the school year by networking with colleagues across the entire district and local businesses. This annual event, hosted by the Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce unites the business community with the 450+ staff at Greenbrier and serves as a unique opportunity to fellowship in a fun, unique way.

Over 50 unique businesses were able to attend this year, each bringing something special to the event that highlighted their business, but also bless the Greenbrier Public School staff with an opportunity to win a door prize valued of at least $100 or more. The Arkansas Breakfast Club provided an excellent breakfast to start the morning off right as well.

"This is a very exciting opportunity for our educators to cut up and have fun with our business community. For our businesses, this serves as a great way to really get out in front of Greenbrier's largest employer, our school district. It is a win-win for everyone. This is one of our main events at the chamber that continues to grow each year. Everyone seems to have fun and hopefully the staff are all left with the reminder that we are here for them! Our community is nothing without the amazing staff at Greenbrier Public Schools. They truly are the backbone of this community and the future of Greenbrier, begins with their investment in our children!" shares Chamber President Ashton Pruitt.

Closing out the event, is the annual "game show" portion was filled with an exciting opportunity for staff to outlast and outplay each other with the ultimate game of Rock Paper Scissors. This year, Eastside Elementary's Mrs. Kaila Jennings came out on top.
