"We can be ANYTHING!" in Greenbrier -Annual Banquet Recap

It was a celebration of the stars at Legacy Acres, March 28th for the 2024 annual Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce Banquet, with the reminder that in Greenbrier, “we can be anything!” The sold out event encouraged guests to dress as their favorite Barbie or Ken and everyone lived up to the challenge! Those in attendance were treated with a keynote message from Funko toy company’s Vice President of Merchandising, Jennifer Hann. DJ Woo Pig kept the music flowing with special entertainment from the Sunshine Troupe to kick off the night. B Hive Catering wowed guests with their amazing menu with the help of Southern Sippery assisting in social hour.


Congratulations once again to the annual award winners: Citizen of the Year, Meredith Post, Volunteer of the Year, Christy Corker, Non Profit of the Year, The Clothes Closet, New Business of the Year Wilcox Family Funeral Home, Small Business of the Year, Bleacher Bling, and Business of the Year, The Children’s Clinic of Greenbrier. Missy Tillman was also recognized for her service to the chamber board and completing her terms.


In addition to the annual chamber awards, Mayor Sammy Hartwick celebrated Shawn Johnston with the city's "XM (Extra Mile) Award" who has served as the planning commission secretary and has served the community for numerous years at First Security Bank.


The annual chamber silent auction brought in $5,600+ that benefits the non profit of the year and the annual scholarship awards. Thank you to everyone who contributed with items and participated.
